I. MAN'S ORIGINAL CONDITION--MADE IN THE IMAGE OF GOD. Gen. 1:37; 5:1; 9:6

1. Not physical but a spiritual likeness. Col. 1:15, John 4:24 John 1:18; Luke 24:39; I Sam. 15:29

2. May refer to Triune likeness; man a tripartite being, God a Triune being. I Thess. 5:23

3. Likeness of personality. God who is a person, created man with a personality. Ex. 3:13,14

4. Man an endless being. Matt. 25:46

5. Intellectual and moral likeness. Col. 3:12

6. Possessed intellectual faculties. Gen. 2:19,20. Given the power to think, reason and speak.

7. Made upright and with a moral nature. Eccl. 7:29


II. THE FALL OF MAN.

B. The Result Of The Fall To Adam And Eve.

C. The Result Of The Fall To The Whole Human Race.
